Deleting your data

The fastest route, and it takes effect immediately:

• Sign in to Gochi.
• Go to Marketing → Channels → Social.
• Find the connected account and choose Disconnect.

Disconnecting deletes the access and refresh tokens we hold for that account straight away. We stop making any request to the platform on your behalf, and any scheduled posts to that account stop.

You can also revoke Gochi's access from the platform's own settings — for example Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites, or Google Account → Third-party apps. Doing it there revokes our access immediately too.

To have everything we hold from a connected account erased, email welcome@gochi.tech from the address on your Gochi account, with:

• the platform (for example Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok or YouTube);
• the account or page name you connected; and
• the email address of your Gochi account.

We confirm receipt within 5 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days. We will tell you when it is done. There is no charge.

• The access and refresh tokens for the connected account.
• The account identifier, display name and profile image we stored to show you which account was linked.
• Post content we published or scheduled through that account, and the engagement figures we retrieved for it.

Content already published on the platform itself is not ours to remove — delete that in the platform, or ask us and we will delete it through the platform where its API allows.

We may keep the minimum needed to meet a legal obligation, or a record that a deletion request was made and actioned, which is itself required for accountability. Anything retained on that basis is not used for any other purpose.

To close your account entirely and have all associated personal information deleted, email welcome@gochi.tech. We will provide a copy of your data on request, then delete or de-identify it within 90 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.
